US Department of Justice (DOJ) found that the accused were actively involved in the alleged activities for which they had used online platforms as well as ATM machines.

When FBI on a trail, then there is no escape from the criminals.

In the recent past, on the complaints of public of being victimized by Ponzi crypto schemes, the agency started its investigation. When FBI was confirmed that the complaint was legitimate, then they started to raid properties where the operators of the scheme were residing.

During FBI’s raid operations, the agency took into custody at least 6 members who were part of or associated with Free Keene.

Free Keene was a movement claimed to be a “peaceful evolution” which propagates against the Government and Government functionaries.

It has been told recently by DOJ the 6 persons apprehended by FBI are involved in criminal activities. DOJ apprised that the accused, who were arrested from New Hampshire, were operators of crypto Ponzi scheme.

Meanwhile, FBI told that it launched a crackdown operation against members of the movement as they were running an illegal business. For the purposes of raiding and arresting several properties belonging to the members of the movement were raided by FBI. Resultantly, six persons of the movement were arrested and taken into FBI’s custody. Against such persons, the charges have already been imposed and their trials before DOJ has already begun.

Latest person being arrested was reportedly a girl named Bonnie who was arrested by FBI on 16th March, 2021 at 600 hours. When she was arrested, she was naked but allowed to wear a towel and put on slippers.

FBI told that at the time of raid, in his personal locker, Freeman was found in possession of US$ 178,000. As per FBI, Freeman also told the agency that he had Bitcoin worth about US$ 1.66 Million in his digital wallet. The prosecutor also claimed that Freeman is in possession of other valuable assets as well which he had acquired through fraud and perjury.

As per DOJ’s decision, the Department has come to a conclusion that the accused criminals were in fact running crypto fraud scheme. The Department noted that US$ 10 Million have been embezzled from the investors on the pretext that they will own digital assets. However, no commitment or promise was fulfilled by accused criminal persons, noted DOJ.
